Hyperloop Pegasus XP-2 Display

Project Overview
We partnered with Virgin Hyperloop's Marketing and Archives teams to design and install the display for the Pegasus XP-2; the first mag-lev vehicle to carry passengers in a near-vacuum. Debuting at the Smithsonian's 2021 FUTURES Exhibition, the project demanded extreme precision: we engineered an aerospace-grade aluminum structure to safely distribute the pod's weight across the Arts and Industries Building's historic floors while navigating tight clearance constraints for transport and guest viewing.
We complemented the structure with bespoke details, including custom laser-cut railing panels and proximity-triggered immersive lighting and audio. The display now resides permanently at the National Museum of Transportation in St.
Louis.
